Coach Kevin is a new generation, open minded yet clever coach. He started playing basketball at the age of 10 and was able to play in the NCAA in the Philippines for 3 years and played in professional leagues NBL and MPBL, both pro leagues in the Philippines for 2 years. He coached High-school level basketball in the Philippines for 4 years and coached a top 25 team in the country in 2018-2019 and coached a grade 12 team that was ranked top 20 for collegiate ranks despite being 2-4 years younger than their opponents in 2017. He still currently plays in various mens leagues around BC winning Mythical 5, Best forward/Guard and All Star Selections to show for them. After moving to BC back in 2023 after being the Philippines for 8 years, he brings with him his fiery, defensive minded, tactical thinking coaching style that has a distinct uniqueness to it. He works hard and holds himself to high accountability and ownership as a coach and person and is committed to seeing his players develop physically and skill-wise but at the same time understands that basketball is not the end all of life and focuses on seeing his players learn and develop in terms of maturity, discipline, hard work, commitment and team work amongst the other qualities he does his best to pass on to his players.
